"Going Green" Garden & Environmental Show
Saturday May 3, 2008 - 10am to 5pm
 
The "Going Green" Garden & Environment Show on Saturday May 3rd partners the Horticultural Society, Communities in Bloom, the District of Muskoka and many of our region's garden centres and landscapers.   The day will also feature guest speakers from Muskoka Heritage Foundation and Landscape Ontario, seedlings for sale and presentations by Muskoka Wildlife Centre and, for our youngest visitors, Home Depot hosting "make your own planter or sailboat" workshops.  The Gravenhurst High School band will also provide live entertainment throughout the day.  This event welcomes Spring for the entire family! Click to view Poster

Charity Bike Nights
Each Wednesday - May 7 through September 17 - 6pm to 8pm
 
Hosted by the Southern Cruisers club, over 100 motorcycles from across the region will unite at Muskoka Wharf to support a local charity. Be sure to visit the Wharf and view some of the finest motorcycles made!!

Muskoka/Parry Sound Great Adventure Show 
Saturday May 17, 2008 - 10am to 5pm
The May Long weekend will be outrageous at Muskoka Wharf with the Muskoka/Parry Sound Great Adventure Show on Saturday May 17th from 10am to 5pm. This hands-on event will showcase our region's adventure tourism attractions including off-road ATV touring, Hummer rides, scuba diving, canoeing, kayaking, float plane rides and paintball.   Visitors will be invited to try out all the attractions for themselves, view demonstrations and learn skills from the pro's.   Along with numerous vendors, live entertainment will feature Frank Wilkes and the "I Am Not Neil Young" tribute and a Wakeboard Show at 1pm!! Click to view Poster 

Wagging At The Wharf - Dog Show
Saturday May 31st - 11am to 4pm

You and your four-footed friend are invited to Muskoka Wharf for a frisky day of canine hilarity.  Big, small, wide or thin ..... enter your best friend in one of our wacky contests:
- Extreme Doggie Makeover
- Fashion Show - Best Dressed Pup
- Best & Worst Dog Trick
- Biggest/smallest canine
The Muskoka Kennel Club will be on-site offering agility and obedience demonstrations and the O.P.P. Canine Unit are specia guests with "Bite Apprehension" demos. Click to view Poster

Bob Izumi "Kids & Cops" Family Fishing Day 
Saturday June 28 - 11am to 4pm 
Join our region's Ontario Provincial Police for a funfilled day of fishing!
O.P.P. officers will be joining the event along with their marine safey unit and boats.  We invite you to bring your own boat, register to join the O.P.P. flotilla or simply fish from the docks for the casting competitions and biggest/smallest fish award.   Official Bob Izumi prizes will include 150 logo baseball hats, tackle boxes and 6 Zebco fishing rods. View the finest motorcycles, past and present, or register to join the event. Contests and amazing prizes.  One-of-a-kind Muskoka vendors and live entertainment.

Arggghhh .... you swashbuckling pirates!    Join me crew this summer if ye dare for Pirate Cruises, "Princess & The Pirate" Theatre, Treasure Hunts, Pirate Costume Contests, Learn to Talk Like a Pirate, Learn the Flags and all me pirate folklore!!!! Starlab  (on loan from the Royal Ontario Museum)
August 4th through 15th
A thrilling exhibit located in the Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre, STARLAB is a portable planetarium which can take us on a journey from the South Pole to the Equator and on to the North Pole.  The STARLAB dome offers a look into the wonderful and magical world of astronomy and, by looking and listening to those distant worlds, we know so much more today about the origins of the universe, the nature of our galaxy, the composition of our Solar System, and the condition of our home - Earth.

"Smoke on the Water" - Canadian BBQ Association Competitions
Saturday September 6 - 11am to 5pm
A mouth-watering event featuring 15 professional BBQ teams, beer gardens, vendors and live entertainment.

Muskoka Fall Fair
September 20 - 10am to 6pm
For the entire family, agricultural vendors and exhibits, a midway, petting zoo and live entertainment

ATV & Snowmobile Show
September 27 to 28 - 10am to 5pm
Featuring numerous dealers showcasing the newest machines on the market, vendors and entertainment

Pumpkinfest
October 11 to 12 - 10am to 5pm

Celebrating Thanksgiving Weekend, event includes pumpkin carving, hay mazes, regatta-themed family games, scarecrow building and entertainment.
